Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you torise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and know me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Oh that men (human) would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

Note: Remember his promise to us at all times, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations and the generations before us. So his word is nothing new and has been around since the beginning. Even of the covenant which he made with all the leaders of Israel.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

My mouth shall show forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Let Isreal hope in the LORD : for with him there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Note,

1. Let the Lord go before me and teach me; God is the truth

2. God is my savior and I cannot save myself

3. I wait on God instead of jumping ahead of a situation

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved

Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.

But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
* ‘Watch’ is to focus on God’s Word, because the Word is going to make a change in us.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
